Interns assist case managers with anything they may need from case file review to helping our clients with medical appointments. This opportunity is important because the interns who fill these roles must be dedicated and consistent to ensure that our case managers receive the assistance they need. This opportunity is sure to create a wonderful relationship between interns and Case Managers as well as the other staff members at the International Center.

Interns assist with anything that our Immigration Program Manager needs. This is a very important opportunity and the intern(s) who fill this role must be dedicated and consistent to ensure that our Immigration Program Manager will have help. Donors, volunteers, and community members play a vital role in the work of the International Center. Maintaining consistent communications with them is necessary for ensuring the ongoing success of refugee resettlement in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The primary responsibilities of the Communications Assistant are updating the website, managing social media accounts, online community outreach through email newsletters and other platforms, and receptionist duties. A completed or in-progress degree in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, or other similar field of study is preferred but not required.
